The Department of English honored the department’s outstanding student writers, teachers, and scholars in a virtual ceremony.

Before Hannah Kealy graduated from FSU in May 2018, the student-run campus magazine she co-founded, Strike, was being regularly published. She currently assists with the launching process of Strike chapters at other campuses.

Despite limitations due to the pandemic, leaders of the student organization bring more opportunities for workshops, panels, and networking.

No in-person ceremony for the Department of English's Awards Ceremony was no problem, as the event shifted to a virtual presentation.
