Advising Hours of Operation & Policies
The English Advising Team is available for virtual and in-person appointments Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Students can make advising appointments through Campus Connect which is accessible from the link below or log in to my.fsu.edu and click on the CC icon. All appointments must be scheduled via Campus Connect before meeting with an advisor. Virtual Drop-In Hours will continue to serve as 'walk-in' advising throughout the semester. Virtual Drop-In Hours are hosted every Wednesday from 9 AM - 12 PM and 1 - 4:00 PM. Non-English majors interested in declaring or adding English as a double major/dual degree should schedule an advising appointment.

Minor requirement for English Majors
Students must choose a minor in a department outside English. A minor typically consists of 12–15 credit hours. Courses that fulfill liberal studies or others requirements such as Computer Fluency or Foreign Language CANNOT be used for the minor. Students who double major are exempt from the minor requirement.
