ENC 3416 Fall 2024 - Jordan

Writing and Editing in Print and Online (aka WEPO) is a core course for the Editing, Writing, and Media major. In this course, students compose on multiple subjects using multiple modalities to do so. Expanding upon core rhetorical ideas such as one's audience and purpose, students will compose using strategies and genres to fit their specific contexts.

In order to achieve these outcomes, in addition to composition projects, students will engage in smaller projects, readings, and class discussions. The class will focus on all elements of composing, including critically assessing exigence, research practices, and the strategic use of drafts and pre-writing/composing.
