Women in Literature: Women and Fiction
Sarah Robimson

This course is an in-depth look at fiction by and about women. Through the examination of a diverse array of novels and short stories from the nineteenth through twenty-first centuries, we will explore depictions of gender, gendered experiences, and femininity as we look at the way craft elements intersect with theme and culture, and consider the process of composition. Classwork will include close reading, discussions, written assignments, and presentations.
