Lit 2081 Fall 2024 - Hamilton

In this course, we will read stories about Florida and by Floridian authors. The reading list will include books, stories, poems, and essays by writers such as Jeff VanderMeer. Alice Walker, Zora Neale Hurston, Marjory Stoneman Douglass, Lauren Groff, Jaquira Diaz, and others. In this course, we will consider the way landscape and setting influence a text and learn about the allure of a good Florida book.
