ENG 2012 Spring 2024 - Hossain

This course is designed to orient you to the field of English Studies and facilitate contemplation of what it means to be an English major. We’ll review the history of the discipline and discuss current practices and areas of inquiry, acquiring skills that will be useful in other courses along the way. Among the things we’ll be working on are annotation and analysis, thesis and argumentation, creative writing, and learning the field’s specialized vocabulary.
