Studies in U.S. Literature Since 1875: Segregation Narratives

An interdisciplinary course on the segregation narrative in Native-American and African-American literature, focused on the patterns of representational practices implicated in the triangulation of power, territory, and othering.

Requirements: This course satisfies the requirement for coursework in the following Area of Concentration: Post-1900 Literary and Cultural Studies. It also meets the Alterity requirement.
