Introduction to Global Literature: So Many Voices
Olga Mexina
This course introduces the genres of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and drama through global (non-American) literature. It emphasizes engagement with texts, discourses, and theoretical frameworks in the context of culture, history and writing conventions of the period. We will engage with varied and beautiful voices processing and transcending their personal, socio-cultural, and historical context through literature.
