Talise Burton is a senior English major with a concentration in Creative Writing and she is earning a minor in Entrepreneurship. As a 2018 IDEA Grant recipient, she will continue her research on establishing a FSU Creative Entrepreneurship course that combats the stigmas and issues surrounding the relationship between business and creative arts subjects. She is the author of the comic Empress, which is published in the Spring 2018 edition of the Kudzu Review. During the 2017-18 academic year, she taught a business research course to 16 students as an Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) Leader. Burton is also an honors student, a marketing intern at the FSU Center For Leadership & Social Change, and a past Career Center ePortfolio Contest winner.
