Chinelo Eneh is a Ph.D. candidate whose research sits at the intersection of African and African American literatures and film, health humanities, and chronic illness equity. She is interested in connecting literary and cultural analysis to emerging conversations on health and digital technology, asking how narrative, across literature, film, and artificial intelligence, shapes and is shaped by questions of health and embodiment. She holds a B.A. in English Education from Godfrey Okoye University in Nigeria where she graduated with First Class Honors, and an M.A. in English Studies from Illinois State University. Her scholarship has been recognized with multiple honors, including the FSU English Department’s Dean’s Award for Doctoral Excellence and the Ermine M. Owenby, Jr. Travel Award from the College of Arts and Sciences (received twice). She has published her work in African Studies Quarterly, with additional research forthcoming, and has presented at conferences including the African Literature Association, the African Studies Association, the Lagos Studies Association, and the South Atlantic Modern Language Association. Chinelo’s passion for literature also led her to found The Third Space Book Club in Boston.
