This course is a reading-intensive exploration of voyage narratives and tropes of mobility in works by major female authors of the Anglo-American tradition. Authors at the center of the course include, but are not limited to, Charlotte Bronte, Emily Dickinson, Virginia Woolf, Nella Larsen and Toni Morrison.
This course meets the requirements for Exploring the Human Experience and fulfills the State-Mandated Writing (W) credit.
