Article & Essay Technique
In this course, we will be studying various approaches to how to write creative nonfiction, as theorized by authors such as Lee Gutkind, Ursula K. Le Guin, and Mary Karr. Twice a semester, students will be required to write and submit a pieces of creative, narrative nonfiction of their own, to be workshopped by the class. AI writing will not be allowed in this course--we are here to learn how to examine and improve our own writing in a supportive, learning-centered environment.
This course fulfills the Upper-Division Writing Requirement.
