ENC 4311 – Spring 2027 – Roberts

In this course, we explore forms of nonfiction: journalism, personal essays, and investigative writing. We will read widely in the genre and discuss writing strategies. The goal is to produce a draft of an essay, 10-12 pages long, and a revision of this essay, both of which will be workshopped by the class. ENC 4311 satisfies the 4000-level writing workshop requirement for the Creative Writing major as well as the advanced elective requirement for the Editing, Writing, and Media (EWM) major.
