CRW 3311 – Spring 2027 – Wilhelm

This course will provide students the opportunity to write poetry extensively but also to read books by celebrated poets including Louise Glück, Terrance Hayes, A.R. Ammons, and Alice Fulton. We will read books of poems by these poets, and others, then discuss what we find therein together. The workshops in this course, in addition to shorter assignments and creative prompts, will be a great opportunity for students to question, strengthen, and extend their writing and writing practice. The course will culminate in the completion of a portfolio of original work.
