Monir Gholamzadeh Bazarbash is from Urmia, Iran. Her work has appeared in Orion, Nowruz, The Brooklyn Review, The Georgia Review, and more. After moving to the United States, she received her M.F.A. at Purdue University and is currently a Ph.D. candidate. She lives in Tallahassee with her son.
