Bio
Maria Hiers (she/her) received her M.F.A. in Poetry from the University of Houston, where she was an assistant non-fiction editor and an assistant poetry editor at Gulf Coast. Her recent work appears or is forthcoming in Poetry and Beloit Poetry Journal. She is a writer and educator who is currently pursuing a Ph.D.
