CRW 3110-0006 -Fall 2026 - Wonder

This course is an analysis of and exercises in the elements of fiction: point of view, conflict, characterization, tone, and image. Students will generate writing both in and out of class, learn to examine short stories through a craft lens, and critique peer work. Students will have the opportunity to workshop at least one piece of fiction. We will explore, as a group, sources of inspiration for fiction including personal experiences, found text, and speculative frameworks.
