CRW 3311 - Fall 2026 - Wilhelm

This course will provide students the opportunity to write poetry extensively but also to read books by contemporary masters including Jorie Graham, John Ashbery, Jennifer Chang, and Louise Glück. We will read books of poems by these poets and others and discuss what we find therein together. The workshops in this course, in addition to shorter assignments and creative prompts, will be a great opportunity for students to question, strengthen, and extend their writing and writing practice. The course will culminate in the completion of a portfolio of original work.
