(MFA 2012, Fiction) is the author of the short story collection, The Rock Eaters (Penguin Books, 2021). Her work appears at Tor.com, The Georgia Review, The Sun, Threepenny Review, and elsewhere. Her stories have won a Nelson Algren Award from the Chicago Tribune, an O. Henry Prize, a Pushcart Prize, and have been anthologized in The Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy, The Best Small Fiction, and The Best Microfiction.
