What's Happening

The Digital Symposium is an annual event held in the Williams Digital Studio that showcases local instances of research, writing/composing, and teaching with digital media technologies that are produced in the department.

The 4th annual Digital Symposium highlighted digital projects in five genres—newsletters, essays, remediations, re-designs, and portfolios—created by students in the first-year composition program and in the Editing, Writing, and Media (EWM) undergraduate English track.

Last year's digital symposium expanded the scope of texts and activities included in the showcase to include faculty and graduate research, undergraduate coursework, first-year composition coursework, and both undergraduate and graduate professional materials.
