Welcome to the 2007 Annual English Department Picnic extravaganza!!

On this fine, October afternoon in J Lee Vause Park, faculty, graduate students, and their families enjoy the company and the food. Conversations were had, gossip exchanged, deals struck, futures decided. There were games of whiffle ball, volleyball, and mother-may-I (an old favorite, courtesy of the Epstein kids). Dogs and children romped. The sun shone. Ryan Hoyle grilled. The picnic was organized by Graduate English student Advocacy Resource (GEAR). GEAR members are elected yearly from amongst the graduate English student body to facilitate, and advocate for, better graduate student life.
