Fall Meet n’ Greet for Students, Faculty and Staff
Once the new school year is underway, you've figured how
to find most of your classes—whether your taking them or teaching—comes
a moment to pause, relax, have a nosh, and meet the folks you’ll be
working with in the year to come! The advisory Council of English Students
(ACES), sponsors this yearly function each fall for new students and
faculty to meet each other and those of us who are, um, "already established."
This year’s reception was originally scheduled for the courtyard, but,
thanks to end-of-summer rains, happened in the always- welcoming Common Room.
Nancy Warren, our Director of Graduate Studies, helped get things rolling
by having each attendee introduce themselves, occasionally through a mouthful
of food! A great start to 2006-07 and beyond.
