ERIC WALKER, Associate Professor and University Distinguished Teaching Professor. A.B. cum laude, Davidson College (1975); M.Litt., University of Aberdeen, Scotland (1979); M.A. (1977) and Ph.D., University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1984).
Associate Chair of the department, Dr. Walker specializes in Romanticism and 18th century studies. His current work is in adoption studies, for a book on Romanticism and Adoption. In 2004-06, he served as an Assistant Dean in the College of Arts and Sciences.
